The first extended intersessions of the school year will happen at the beginning of October, leaving parents to find ways to keep their kids busy and out of trouble for anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. The majority of students begin their first extended intersession of the school year on Oct. 4 returning to school on Oct. 18. "Only two weeks? I wish the break was longer," said no parent ever.
