During the Pittsburgh Pirates against Chicago Cubs game, which lasted a riveting 12 innings, it appears that someone forgot to catch a fly ball. That's right, the Pirates can blame outfielder Gregory Polanco for making a fatal mistake that probably cost them dearly.

The video shows Mr. Polanco slip, in the process hitting himself in the face, thus preventing him from catching the fly ball. You can sort of see that Polanco made a weird move while rushing to catch the ball, and that simply pushed him further into his stumble. Maybe it just wasn't their night, since the Pirates ended up losing to the Cubs. But hopefully Polanco can recover from this terrible error.
