So in what could have been his last appearance as a Phillie, he did something he has never done before -- throw a no-hitter. But it wasn’t without some drama at the end, as Kris Bryant hit a long drive to center field. Rookie outfielder Odubel Herrera made an awkward catch to cement the no-no.

The no-hitter by Hamels is the first time in 50 years that the Chicago Cubs have been no-hit.
