The Los Angeles Dodgers are playing in their first World Series since 1988, and fans have been begging for Vin Scully to return to the broadcast booth. The longtime voice of Dodgers baseball vowed that he would not take the attention away from the two teams, but he did give fans at Dodger Stadium a treat earlier tonight when he was introduced to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game 2.

Scully has always known how to work a crowd and bringing out former heroes like Steve Yeager and Fernando Valenzuela made the moment even more special. However, it still would have been very cool to see the baseball legend who will turn 90 next month throw out the first pitch. Instead, everyone at Dodger Stadium was treated to Scully uttering the five words that every fan was waiting for: "It's time for Dodger baseball!"
