I've been talking about Whataburger a whole lot lately. I wish I was sorry, but...I'm not. There's never a bad time to mention them, and it's pretty clear that you guys love them as much as I do. I actually went there for lunch yesterday. It was nothing short of spectacular!

It's a good thing I chose yesterday to indulge in all of that yummy burger action because the weather is getting pretty bad in Texas right now. Over 100,000 people in Austin lost power due to the cold temperatures we are experiencing across our state. It's a pretty bad situation. If I was there, I'd ditch my frosty house for a seat in their toasty restaurant and get to know a BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich a little more intimately...

I came across a TikTok from 2021 that very accurately portrays just how far we will go to get our hands on a patty melt and some spicy ketchup...

Check it out below:

Really though, if you are planning to make a trek through the icy Texas wonderland, buckle your seat belt, drive incredibly slowly, and be hyper-aware of your surroundings. You don't want an accident to prevent you from digging into a dope-ass chicken sandwich.

Would you brave the weather just to get some Whataburger?

I don't even know why I'm asking. Of course, you would. But maybe, for the sake of your safety, hang back at home today and settle for a boring package of ramen noodles. Whataburger will still be there after the snow melts. I promise.
