Miners head coach Sean Kugler thought UTEP could have done better after a 32-13 loss to UTSA in the first-ever meeting between the two Conference USA schools. But, though he was disappointed in consistency, he praised the Miners' effort.

He also looks forward to facing an old WAC foe next weekend in Colorado State. Kugler was asked if there were a few familiar haunts he might have visited as a Miner under Bob Stull. Kugler pleaded the Fifth, saying he was all tucked in before curfew back on his road trips to Fort Collins, CO.

As for his current group of players, Kugler still loves their attitude, but said, frankly, errors are being made on both sides of the ball. He stressed, though, that he and his team are striving not to make the same mistakes twice.

UTEP plays Colorado State in Fort Collins Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. MDT. The game will be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.
