American skier Robert ‘Sandy’ Vietze was booted from the US Ski Team on Friday when it was discovered he did something pretty unspeakable on a JetBlue flight on Tuesday night.

After a weeklong training camp in Oregon with the US Ski Team, the 18-year-old Vietze apparently downed eight alcoholic beverages before boarding a redeye to New York’s JFK airport. During the flight, he got up from his seat, stumbled a few rows down the aisle, and commenced to urinate on an 11-year-old girl.

The girl’s father and sister were away using the bathroom — the actual sanctioned one — and when they returned, the father caught Vietze in the act. He understandably reacted by physically attacking the six-foot-four, 195-pound skier. Flight attendants eventually separated them.

Making the story even worse is the fact that the aforementioned father is a stage 4 cancer patient.

“Based on the information we have, Sandy Vietze is in violation of the USSA code of conduct and team agreement, and has been dismissed from the team,” US Ski and Snowboard Association Executive Vice President of Athletics Luke Bodensteiner said in a statement.

Vietze was also issued a citation and charged by the Brooklyn US Attorney’s Office with a misdemeanor for indecent exposure, which could result in a year in jail.
