It looks like someone broke the first rule of "Fight Club". I guess in this case, it was a good thing to break that rule!

Kimbrough Middle School in Mesquite, Texas, recently had to fire a substitute teacher after students say she actually encouraged them to fight in the classroom.

In footage released by a student, you can see the desks in the classroom are moved in order to make room for the students who are fighting. The students are said to be between 13 and 14 years old. And it doesn't look like it's just a little smack here or there, these kids look like they're fighting in the octagon!

Apparently, they're just letting ANYONE be a substitute these days! You can see the substitute teacher front and center- who can be heard saying "no one wants to fight?" and she also seemed to have outlined the rules before the fighting began. At least there were rules?

The only reason the substitute was caught was because one student leaked the footage! Mother Beatriz Martinez, whose daughter recorded the whole thing, is disgusted that something like this was happening at her daughter's school.

I had to stop it multiple times because I didn’t think it was real. I was like, this must be a prank. This is not real.

Definitely not a prank, and now that substitute is facing legal trouble for this middle school fight club. Aside from all the fight club jokes, I have to agree that this is super troubling! What kind of adult actually encourages the students to fight each other?

The Mesquite Independent School District confirmed that the fight club was real and that the substitute was indeed the instigator.
