UTEP spring game

Saturday was a special day for UTEP football, highlighted by the spring game, coached by Miner football alumni and wrapped up by a garage sale that saw the line wrapped around the Sun Bowl concourse.

The first scrimmage of spring ball took place on Friday for UTEP and new head coach Scotty Walden. Read the five things we learned from the scrimmage.

After weeks of getting back to the gridiron, the Miners will conclude spring ball practices with their final spring drills on Saturday at the Sun Bowl starting at high noon.

Spring ball comes at us earlier this year than most on the Borderland, as the UTEP football squad will gear up to undergo spring practices to fine-tune themselves for next season.
