New York Rangers left winger Sean Avery was arrested early Friday morning for misdemeanor battery of a police officer. The cops had come to Avery’s Hollywood Hills home to follow up on a complaint about loud music. According to the police report, Avery shoved the responding officer out of the way, and then slammed his front door.
