The Tennessee Titans surprised a lot of people with a 9-7 season in 2011.

Veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was signed last season to mentor young quarterback Jake Locker.  Second year coach Mike Munchak will have a tough decision to make regarding the starting quarterback job.

Tennessee opens the season against New England, San Diego, Detroit, and Houston.  Whichever quarterback gets the week one nod will have a very short leash.

The 'x-factor' for Tennessee will be running back Chris Johnson.  Johnson seems light years removed from his 2,006 yard campaign in 2009.  He had the worst year of his professional career in 2011, and Tennessee will need him to return to his old form if they want to survive the brutal start to their season.

Longtime Nashville sports personality Joe Dubin co-hosts the "1st Quarter" show on 102.5 the game in Nashville.  Dubin thinks this team will surprise people again in 2012 and will compete for the AFC South title.
