Spooky Fun El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Haunted House Is Back
With the scary season in full swing, El Pasoans are out and about enjoying all the spooky activities this time of the year has to offer. One of the more popular is visiting haunted house attractions.
For most of the last decade that included the El Paso County Sheriff's Office haunted house.
Covid forced them to pivot for a couple of years replacing the haunted house with a drive-thru trunk-or-treat last year and a drive-up Halloween light show the year before. But after a two-year pause, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office is once again scaring up some fiendish fun for Halloween.
Haunted House is Back
As in years past, the haunted house will be at the Sheriff’s Office headquarters located at 3820 Justice Drive.
Although more of a low-scare kid-friendly haunted house than a full-on wet your pants type of attraction, that doesn't mean it's not a lot of spooky fun and a must-visit for anyone who loves their horror-focused thrills and scares.
Proceeds will benefit the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 2005, which is made up of students ages 14 to 21 who hope to one day make law enforcement their career.
Monies raised by the group is used to buy uniforms and training equipment, and to pay for travel to out-of-town competitions.
