Sergio Garcia Uses Racist Remark When Talking About Tiger Woods, Issues Apology

You knew this little battle that Sergio Garcia was waging with Tiger Woods was not going to end well but I highly doubt anyone could have foreseen this as an ending.

At a black tie gala for the European PGA Tour last night, Sergio Garcia was asked if he would invite Tiger Woods over for dinner and Garcia responded with this statement,

"We'll have him round every night,'' Garcia said according to multiple media outlets, "We will serve fried chicken.''

You have got to be kidding me? Right?

Garcia just finished a press conference about the insensitive remarks he made last night and to be honest was apologetic but was not as sincere with answers to some of the questions he was asked.

There is no place for these remarks period.

There is no excuse that you can provide. You can try and say you were being funny but that kind of stuff is just not funny and quite frankly never has been.

Sergio is 33 years old, he is not that kid running and jumping up the fairway at the PGA Championship, it is time for him to grow up.

Fuzzy Zoeller has basically disappeared since making the comments he made in 1997 and I really have a hard time seeing how Sergio does not suffer the same fate.
