It's now week 9 in the NFL and tonight the Green Bay Packers visit the San Francisco 49ers here on ESPN 99.1 beginning at 7:00 PM.

The Green Bay Packers suffered bad news Monday as rookie running back AJ Dillon was added to the COVID-19 list and will not play on Thursday against San Francisco. ESPN is reporting that running back Jamaal Williams and linebacker Kamal Martin have been ruled out after they were also deemed high-risk close contacts of Dillon.

Green Bay is still listing their two top running backs questionable for tonight’s game. Left tackle David Bakhtiari is suffering from a chest injury while Aaron Jones is still dealing with a calf injury. The Packers are also reporting that cornerback Kevin King (quadriceps), and safeties Will Redmond (shoulder) and Vernon Scott (shoulder) have been ruled out, while tackle Rick Wagner (knee) and safety Raven Greene (oblique) also are questionable.

Coming off a loss to Seattle on Sunday, the 49ers have their share of problems with the absence of more than 10 starters due to injury including Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) and George Kittle (foot fracture). San Francisco placed four players on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday and declared all four of them out for Thursday night's home game.

After a home loss to the Vikings, Green Bay should improve to 6-2 with a win tonight.
