On the final day of the NLI period, center/forward Kaosi Ezeagu (Cay-See AzEE-Agu) chose to take his talents to UTEP over the likes of Western Michigan and South Carolina.

He's a 6-foot-10 big man originally from the Bahamas. He finished his high school career in Canada, where his family currently lives, and was a significant member for GTA Prep's basketball team. He was named the NPA Canada Defensive Player of the Year this past season. During the Canadian high school all-star game, he finished with 27 points and seven rebounds.

Ezeagu will join Rodney Terry's 2018 recruiting class, including forward Efe Odigie, shooting guard Nigel Hawkins and small forward Deon Stroud.
