Former Texas Rangers second baseman Michael Young does not like clowns. The fan favorite was honored in Arlington over the weekend, and the Rangers inducted him into their Hall of Fame. As he and his three kids were being driven around the field on a pickup truck after the ceremony, former teammate Elvis Andrus decided to surprise him with a Jigsaw mask. Young, who had no idea that Andrus was under the mask and running up to the truck, reacted by loading up for a punch that would have destroyed the Rangers shortstop. Fortunately, the punch was never thrown and everyone was able to laugh about it afterwards.

The next day, Young laughed the incident off and he told the Rangers television broadcast team that he has a severe distaste and distrust of clowns. "We don't jive very well," Young said. He also said was cocked and ready to throw down his right hand if necessary.
