The Mexican National Soccer Team under 22 squad is coming to the Borderland and will face the Argentina under 22 squad on Saturday, October 12th. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 6pm at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium.

Moments ago, Alvarado Navarro and Rodrigo Cuaron vice presidents of FC Juarez gave the announcement official of this match that will serve as a preparation match for Mexico ahead of the Olympic qualifying tournament for next summer's Olympics.

Navarro commented during the press conference that this match is a result of the good relationship that is being established between the Bravos front office and the Mexican Soccer Federation, thus being awarded this match.

Twenty-one year old, FC Juarez defender, Joaquin Esquivel is practically a certainty that he will be on the roster for this under 22 team as he has participated with “El Tri” frequently since he was called up to the under-17 squad. He currently finds himself with the senior Mexican National Soccer Team ahead of their exhibition soccer match with Trinidad and Tobago this Wednesday.

Word spread of the match since last Friday via social media. This morning it was made official.

Tickets for the match will go on sale starting tomorrow morning for FC Juarez season ticket holders. Season ticket holders will get first option to obtain their seats to this match until Friday. On Saturday, tickets will go on sale to the general public and tickets that were not bought by season ticket holders will open up to the public. It is important to remember that over 90% of the stadium is sold to season ticket holders for FC Juarez games.
