McDavid Notches 3rd Hat Trick of Season, Oilers Beat Jets

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Connor McDavid recorded his third hat trick of the season and the ninth of his career, leading Edmonton to a 6-1 win over Winnipeg that lifted the Oilers past the Jets and into second place in the North Division. Leon Draisaitl had a goal and an assist and Alex Chiasson and Darnell Nurse also scored for Edmonton. Mike Smith made 36 saves. Mark Scheifele scored for Winnipeg.
