The USL announced their Team of the Week today and El Paso Locomotive FC defender Andrew Fox was part of the 11-man club.

Fox played in one match last week, a 2-2 draw with New Mexico United. He played all 90 minute and he scored a goal on three shots. Fox also created three key chances, registered a terrific 47/54 (87%) passing accuracy in the game, had a pair of tackles, and two clearances including a goal saver.

The 27-year old Englishman made 30 appearances and 28 starts last season for the Locomotive, with a pair of goals scored. He is one of the more accurate passers on the club, with an 85% success rate in the 2019 season. Although primarily a defender, Fox has also played striker for head coach Mark Lowry and he is known as one of the most versatile players on the club. The Locomotive host New Mexico United Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
