"Brent is a quality player coming from a quality club, so it is great to be able to bring him in," Lowry said in the official team release. "He is a player I know from the NASL days so I’m familiar with his capabilities, the leadership, and quality he will have to our center-back department. These qualities will be very useful as we approach a stretch of 10 games in 50 days."

The 29-year old Minnesota native played his entire professional career with Minnesota United FC, first in the NASL and later in MLS. He played his collegiate soccer at Creighton. El Paso is in Salt Lake tomorrow for a matchup against Real Monarchs at 8 p.m. and then, Locomotive FC play at Colorado Springs next Saturday at 6 p.m.
