This weekend Warriorsedge Boxing Promotions will be holding their boxing camp and seminar, where the proceeds go to benefit their mentorship program to help at risk youth looking for some guidance.

The group will be welcoming in Daniel "Tarahumara" Ponce De Leon. Ponce De Leon, who last fought in 2014, has a record of 45-7 and a resounding 35 KO's, is a former WBO and WBC Bantamweight and Featherweight champion and will be headlining the boxing camp and seminar to help polish the boxing skills of El Paso's up and coming boxers and potential world champions.

Daniel "Tarahumara" Ponce De Leon, started his boxing career in the Juarez, El Paso area with wins by knockout in the 1st round and having only one fight last to the 5th, that match happening in El Paso's Don Haskins Center in 2001, and remained undefeated until Feb 17, 2005. Ponce De Leon won his first title a few months later on October 29, 2005, retaining that title until July 2008, when he lost a 1st round TKO to Juan Manuel Lopez.

His next title was won on Sept. 15 2012 over Jhonny Gonzalez, that was the WBC Featherweight championship. Ponce De Leon has been in matches against some of the biggest names in boxing to include Adrian Broner, Sergio Medina, and Abner Mares.
