An on-field promotion at a Minor League Baseball game can often turn into the highlight of the night. When the promo involves kids tumbling on the field, you get a memorable moment.

The West Michigan Whitecaps are the Class-A affiliates of the Detroit Tigers and they play in the Midwest League. One of their in-game promos is an appliance race with kids wearing large foam costumes representing a dryer, a range, and a water heater. The object of the appliance race is to run out to center field, circle around a large thermostat, and return to the finish line. Of course, there was no way these kids would be able to run full speed in these costumes without falling over and eating the outfield grass.
