Jets Quarterback Geno Smith Out 6-8 Weeks With Broken Jaw
Several NFL teams have had to deal with some type of fighting that has gone on between teammates during training camp. Almost all of them were played off as 'not a big deal' due to the fact that no one has really been hurt ... until today.
New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith was hit by LB Ikemefuna “I.K.” Enemkpali in a locker-room
fight and Smith has suffered a broken jaw and will be out until October. Jets coach Todd Bowles said that Smith was “cold-cocked” and “sucker-punched,” and said Enemkpali has been cut.
