Dairy Queen Welcomes the First Day of Spring in El Paso with Free Cone Day

This time of the year also marks Dairy Queen’s annual first day of spring free ice cream cone celebration. The fast food restaurant chain has welcomed the start of the new season by giving away the classic DQ menu item since 2014.

When is Free Cone Day?
Monday, March 20, 2023, participating El Paso Dairy Queen locations are handing out a small, vanilla ice cream cone – signature swirl and all – for free.
“All you have to do is show up and order!” the company enthusiastically exclaims on its website.
I wouldn't wait in a line just to save two bucks ... said no one in El Paso ever! I scream, you scream, we all scream for free ice cream, amirite?
The world-famous soft serve is 100% free on March 20 only. The offer is available all day while supplies last and is good for one cone per person.
New Horizon City Dairy Queen
A 10th DQ is in the works to join the 9 current El Paso area locations. The newest one is “coming soon” to the Eastlake area, according to the company website.
It's currently under construction in Horizon City at Horizon Blvd and Darrington Road.
