Scott Stapp of Creed Headlines El Paso's Biggest Concert of the Year
Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas and El Paso Locomotive, will host the concert event of the fall.
Headlining will be Scott Stapp of Creed. On the 2024 "Higher Power" Tour, Scott played both songs from his 4 solo albums highlighting his latest "Higher Power," and Creed classics including "With Arms Wide Open," "Higher," "One Last Breath," and "My Sacrifice." KLAQ Rocks the Park will kick off Scott’s return to the solo stage.
Poppy Brings Her Unique Sound to El Paso
One of the most anticipated performances will be the arrival of Poppy. Poppy’s “They're All Around Us" tour has been selling out venues everywhere. Poppy's blend of Metal, Industrial, Experimental, and Pop has been receiving strong reviews. With her 6 albums, Poppy has become one of rock's more intriguing artists, and her satirical and surreal "Improbably Poppy" variety show only added more fascination.
Dead Poet Society Will Make a Diehard Fan Out of You
Dead Poet Society, from Boston, Massachusetts is currently on tour with Chevelle, but once that concludes DPS will board the plane to fly to EPTX to Rock The Park! They have called their sound "heavy indie rock," and have been relentlessly touring since their 2021 debut album "-!-" and along with songs from the 2024 release "Fission," DPS is making new fans with every performance.
Hooked Like Helen Opens El Paso's Biggest Show
Opening the show will be Hooked Like Helen, a band often featured on the weekly new music discover show Q-Connected (Sundays 5p-7p). The husband and wife duo Nikki and Jon Stipp are the driving force behind HLH, and promise to deliver a set of high-energy, emotionally charged songs.
