El Paso Museum of History Has Incredible Exhibit Dedicated to Local legends
We know the music scene in El Paso has been growing strong since the 1990s. But to those who just know the artists from the late 90s to today, you'll be surprised that El Paso's music scene has been IMPORTANT to music's history way back since the start of the 1900s. So to honor those who have made a difference in music and for El Paso, the El Paso Museum of History opened a new exhibit this weekend all dedicated to them.
What you can expect to find inside the El Paso Museum of History
Right when you enter, you'll find their new exhibition called "Musica Sin Fronteras: Twentieth Century to Now" and it's exactly what you expect: a close look into some of the biggest musical artists from the last century and into the 21st century.
Of course you'll find some of the biggest names in music like At The Drive-In/The Mars Volta, Don Tosti, the Bobby Fuller Four among many others.
And let's not forget about Khalid too.
But you'll find also some of the most important figures from radio & tv. Names like Steve Crosno & Patti Diaz are found here. Even KLAQ has its own section too; we miss ya Courtney & Big Al Jones...
That's just a small look at it of course; if you want to see the exhibit for yourself, it will be on display until April 2025. These photos definitely don't do the exhibition justice, it's something to check out for yourself.
