3 Breweries from El Paso are working together to raise money for the victims of the fires that ravaged Ruidoso this summer. All you have to do to help is drink beer - easy peasy.

Following the fires, came severe flooding and residents are still struggling with the aftermath of both disasters. FEMA, according to area residents, isn't offering much help.

3 different El Chuco brewers are offering their help ...

The "Collective Good Project" was initiated by the Downshift Brewing Company in Ruidoso. It's a "collective" of El Paso based breweries each challenged to brew a special beer to help peeps in Ruidoso.

DeadBeach, Old Sheepdog and Three Missions have each come up with a special brew, available for a limited time only, the proceeds from which will go to Community Foundation of Lincoln County.

  • DeadBeach Brewery, 3200 Durazno Avenue in El Paso, Texas, made their "Collective Good" beer a 4.0% ABV Peach Pilsner. It's available at the Deadbeach tavern until it sells out.
  • Old Sheepdog Brewery, 3900 Rosa Aveue in El Paso, Texas brewed up a traditional Kölsch recipe. The 4.5% ABV beer will be available from the end of October until it sells out.
  • Three Missions Brewery, located at 10179 Socorro Road in Socorro, Texas are offering a 4.6% Blonde Ale. It will be on sale from October 12, 2024, until it's all gone.

Deadbeach Brewery also recently introduced a new beer brewed in El Chuco to help UTEP Athletics. You can buy "Miner Brew" at UTEP Miner sporting events and/or the Deadbeach Brewery on Durazno.
