Downtown El Paso Holds Many Secrets Like The Hidden Candy Factory
When you have a sweet tooth & you're craving for candy, of course you can just busy some at the store. Or if you're looking for a local shop, there's Chocolat & El Loco to help satisfy that craving. However there IS another candy store in town. Or rather... a candy FACTORY located in Downtown El Paso.
Where is this candy factory in El Paso?
If you go Downtown you can spot a lot of different bars & restaurants, so how do you know where to find this place?
Well it's not in the heart of Downtown, so don't try looking at the San Jacinto Plaza.
It's not by the Abraham Chavez Theater, nor is it by the baseball park.
But it is close. If you travel down S Santa Fe St, take a left on San Antonio Ave. Keep going until you reach the corner of Durango & San Antonio.
There you will find a place called Nuestra Nostalgia, across from the Union Plaza Parking Garage. In fact this place is SO hidden, Google Maps hasn't posted a recent image of the place after it's opened.
Recently, thanks to the ToDoElPaso Facebook page, this "hidden candy factory" has been "uncovered" & the original poster was very excited to tell everyone about their discovery & the stuff you can get at Nuestra.
Despite being called a "hidden" candy factory, Nuestra has been open for a while. But I can understand; that section of Downtown usually has some gems of places to check out. You just have to go down there to see it for yourself.
