Mike Tyson will officially make the transition from "Hall Of Fame Boxer" to Boxing Promoter this week during "Friday Night Fights" at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, N.Y.

This will be the very first fight card for the "Novice" boxing promoter and his crew, which consist of Garry Jonas, Former CEO of Acquinity Sports and Henry Rivalta, Head of Boxing Operations.

Tyson says, he is happy to have this opportunity to be back in boxing and just wants to give young boxers the help in their careers, that he never received.

Currently, they have one World Champion, Argenis Mendez is a super featherweight who holds the IBF title.

Two other notable fighters include, Claudio Marrero and Juan Carlos Payano.

Both, Mendez and and Marrero will be featured on "Friday Night Fight," Mendez will defend his Title against Arash Usmanee, while Marrero will be fighting Jesus Andres Cuellar, for a vacant interim featherweight title.

Tyson also shows a great Interest in signing heavyweights who could bring back some respect to American heavyweight boxing.

I for one, am very interested to see whats to come from Tyson's promoting and do wish him well, however if I was an upcoming boxer I'd probably look everywhere else before letting "Iron Mike" handle my career.
