I'm glad so many places in El Paso are finally ready to appreciate how delicious custard is! There is always a battle between which side of the city has better food options for you to enjoy- the eastside or the westside. I used to think the westside got all the good food spots first, but the eastside dining options have really stepped up in the past few years. Now with this new foodie addition, the competition really is neck and neck. Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers are opening their first El Paso location on the far eastside on North Zaragoza Road.

Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is a fast-casual dining spot known for their Vienna hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and of course their custard and burgers. The chain hails from Witchita, Kansas, and has been around for almost 20 years and El Paso is finally getting our own Freddy's. The CIty of Crosses has their own Freddy's location but now El Pasoans don't have to travel an hour or so to get their Freddy's fix. Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is located at 1860 North Zaragoza Road and they are open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m Sunday through Thursday. The restaurant is open till 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. West siders don't get too jealous, another Freddy's is under construction so you can enjoy the custard, burgers, and more very soon! The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a drive-thru option. For more information, give them a call at (915) 849-8369 or check out some of their food options at their website.
