Oh boy, did this fly under the radar!

Former UTEP standout and current Giants offensive lineman Will Hernandez will team up with ProCamp for a youth football camp this weekend, June 21-22, at Ft. Bliss.

ProCamp has been carrying these camps across the nation to 11 different military communities. The camps are open to first through eighth grade boys and girls of active duty military, reservists, retirees and DOD civilian employees. These events work in partnership with the Defense Commissary Agency, which operates a worldwide chain of commissaries that provides groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment.

All camps are led by NFL football players and the designated athlete is Hernandez, who spent four seasons with the UTEP Miners in college. Hernandez was the second overall pick in the second round to the New York Giants, where he started all 16 games during his rookie season.

Per the camp's initial announcement, interested campers should visit the local commissary or contact the local youth sports office for details and what times the athletes will hold autograph sessions.

Here are the athletes who will be at the camps, per the website: Andre Roberts, Fort Jackson; Marquise Goodwin, Travis Air Force Base; Will Hernandez, Fort Bliss; Jaylon Smith, Fort Hood; Latavius Murray, Naval Station Mayport; Trace McSorley, Marine Corps Base Quantico; Christian McCaffrey, Fort Bragg; LeGarrette Blount, Naval Base Norfolk; Christian Kirk, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base; Mohamed Sanu, Fort Benning; and Randolph Air Force Base, Lamar Miler.
