Jeff Garcia will be joining the Iceman on Sportalk on Friday at 5:30 pm.  Garcia, a four time Pro Bowl selection, played in the NFL from 1999-2011 for numerous teams including San Francisco, Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, Oakland and Houston.  Garcia also played in the Canadian Football League for Calgary from 1994-1998 and won a Grey Cup as well as an MVP award in the championship game.

Among Garcia's impressive career statistics are throwing for 161 touchdowns and accumulating 43,000 passing yards in the CFL and NFL.  Voted team captain for each squad that he started for, Garcia also led 5 playoff runs with 4 different NFL teams, which included an epic 39-38 comeback win while with the 49ers over the Giants on January 5, 2003.  To this day, it is the largest comeback in NFC playoff history, and the second largest comeback in NFL playoff history, ranking only behind Buffalo's 41-38 victory over the Houston Oilers in 1993.

Garcia is still the only QB in the San Francisco 49ers storied history to throw for 30 plus touchdowns in back-to-back seasons, and holds the record for most passing yards in a season with 4,278, a feat that neither Joe Montana nor Steve Young was able to accomplish.
