Bravos de FC Juarez will look to finish its 2016 Apertura preseason with a win tonight against Leon at Southwest University Park. FC Juarez has a .500 record this preseason (2-2) and is ready and eager to put on a good showing in front of its local fan base tonight at 7pm.

This will be the only preview that fans will get of the Bravos before the 2016 Apertura Season kicks off the weekend of July 15-16th. The team from the Borderland will open their season at home against Mineros de Zacatecas on July 16th at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium.

Last night, FC Juarez had their final walk through practice prior to tonight's match with Leon. The team performed their cardio exercises, movement and designed strategic plays on corner kicks, and set pieces. A very light practice by all means, typical of what you would expect 24 hours prior to any match. Head Coach, Sergio Orduna addressed the media after the game.

Orduna stated, “Based on what I have noted after our previous preseason match, the team has consistently been evolving on a daily basis especially form a tactical standpoint. Some of our new players that we acquire this off-season joined us over there in Guadalajara and fell right in as expected. As for the current analysis of our preseason preparation can be described as good with relation to the amount of time we have had to work.”

As for the kind of match that Orduna expects to see tonight he commented, “Fans in attendance are in for treat, I think you are going to see two sides that are going to compete and give their all for the benefit of continuing to get in form for the season to come.”

Tickets for tonight's match are still available at box office at Southwest University Park and on the park's website.
