FC Juarez Defeats Puebla 2-1 In Copa MX, Leads Competition
Bravos de FC Juarez defeated Puebla on the road by a score of 2-1 in Copa MX play. The Bravos came back from a 1-0 deficit to obtain 3 points in the group stage of the midweek competition that is comprised of both first and second division clubs. Puebla currently play in Liga MX, Mexico’s premier soccer division.
The goal that gave FC Juarez the tie in the 59th minute was off of a penalty kick that was scored by Flavio Santos. The match defining goal was scored by Gabriel Hachen in the 81st minute via a left footed strike from just outside the opposing team’s goal box.
