The 2016 Hyundai Sun Bowl featured one of the most memorable games in the bowl's rich history as #16 Stanford defeated North Carolina 25-23 in a contest that went down to the wire.  The game itself was wildly entertaining, but fans were also treated to some special guests who came to see their daughter perform as one of the Stanford cheerleaders.

Country music superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw attended the game to watch their daughter Maggie McGraw perform on the sidelines, and thousands of fans got to see the two celebrities as they were on the field during the second half of the game.  Faith Hill is currently recovering from foot surgery, but the dynamic duo is set to begin a world tour in 2017.  El Paso is fortunate to have a game like the Sun Bowl on an annual basis, you never know who is bound to show up at the game of the year in the Sun City.
