El Paso’s Aaron Jones had one heck of an afternoon yesterday (10/6) against his favorite childhood team, the Dallas Cowboys

The former UTEP Miner and Burgess High alum was unstoppable scoring on runs of 18, 3, 5, and 1 yard to tie a Green Bay Packers franchise record for most touchdowns in one game.

Jones stepped up huge for the Packers rolling up 107 yards on 19 carries and scoring all of the team’s touchdowns. After his second, he flashed the numbers 9, 1, and 5 with his hands — El Paso’s area code. Jones threw his twin brother the football after scoring his third touchdown of the afternoon.

As a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan, Jones running roughshod over The ‘Boys was a demoralizing thing to watch. As a proud El Pasoan, though, it was cool to see him stand out on the nationally televised "America's Game of the Week".

I just wish it would've been against some other team.
