El Paso Locomotive FC Releases Inaugural 2019 Season Schedule

Only months remain until El Paso Locomotive FC kicks off their inaugural 2019 season and today they released their full schedule for the upcoming year.

El Paso Locomotive will begin their season on March 9 at Southwest University Park, when they take on OKC Energy FC.

Their season will run 33 weeks under the USL Championship season and will wrap up on Oct. 20.

“I am beyond excited about the release of the schedule.” said Andrew Forrest, General Manager, Business Operations of the Locomotive FC. “Fans have been looking forward to this for months and now everyone will have a chance to experience and be a part of history during this inaugural season for El Paso Locomotive. With players from all over the globe and the high level of play in the USL, it will make for some exciting nights at Southwest University Park. I cannot wait for the fans in El Paso to experience this level of professional soccer for themselves!”

 As part of the Western Conference, El Paso will take on each team in their division on a home-and-away format. They will host their neighboring squad in New Mexico United (Albuquerque) on Sunday, May 12. And, they will host all of the three other Texas teams (Rio Grande Valley FC, Austin Bold FC and San Antonio FC) this season as well.

The Locomotive FC will also be playing matches against three MLS II squads this season, including an away match against Portland Timbers 2 on May 25 and a home bout against LA Galaxy II on June 8.
