El Paso Locomotive FC is staying busy this offseason. First, they announced that Eder Borelli and Leandro Carrijo would be back in 2021. Today, they announced that Dylan Mares and Macca King would join them next season.

Mares was the most consistent offensive player on the Locomotive roster and the midfielder scored four goals and a team-leading four assists while finishing second in the league in chances created. The 28-year old added another goal and assist in the playoffs and now he returns for the club's third season in the USL.

"Dylan is one of the top chance creators in the league and his ability to combine with his teammates and unlock the opposition has allowed us to evolve our attacking game," head coach and technical director Mark Lowry said in the official team release.

The 25-year old King joined El Paso in August, but it did not take long for him to get comfortable on the club's defensive line. His passing accuracy rate was 73% while his tackling rate was 69%. He also added a goal in El Paso's first win over New Mexico. "Macca from the right side provided a high quality of delivery in the final third and his defensive attributes fit in well with one of the best backlines in the league," Coach Lowry added.

El Paso Locomotive FC will continue to announce renewals and new player signings as they approach the 2021 season.
