The Dwight Howard sweepstakes finally has come to an end as the 7 time NBA All Star posted a picture of himself on Twitter wearing a red Houston Rockets jersey.

Howard's deal is worth $88 million over the next four years. Dwight would have made about $30 million if he would have stayed with the Lakers, but he felt that The Rockets are a better fit for him.

"I've decided to become a member of the Houston Rockets.  I feel its the best place for me and I am excited to about joining the Rockets and I'm looking forward to a great season. I want to thank the fans of Los Angeles and wish them the best."

Howard's decision came down to the Lakers or the Rockets, but the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks were also involved in the recruiting process.
