You could not have scripted it any better. Derek Jeter's last game ever at Yankee Stadium ended with a finish only fit for legends. Jeter hit a game winning walk-off single to give the Yankees a 6-5 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The final hit capped off an eventful night for the Yankee Captain, which included a double in his first at bat and three RBIs.

The game also included Jeter's final ever "roll call" at Yankee Stadium, a long standing tradition in the Bronx.

The next time Jeter will appear in pinstripes at Yankee Stadium will be for an Old Timer's Day game. Before that happens, expect baseball's most popular player of this generation to be immortalized when the team retires his #2 next season and places his plaque in Monument Park.
