As Hispanic Heritage Month rolls along until October 15, there are some wonderful opportunities for the community to celebrate the Hispanic/Latino culture across El Paso.

Here are a few celebrations happening this weekend and throughout the next few weeks.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Raising Cane’s

On Friday, September 27, Raising Cane's will be hosting a special Hispanic Heritage Month event from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be music, games and fun activities for families to enjoy, all from their Sunland location on the west side (675 Sunland Park).

SportsTalk will be live from Raising Cane's starting at 4 p.m. with exclusive prizes and giveaways. Plus, the first 100 customers that dine-in will receive a free Box Combo to use during their next visit and a swag bag. Special guests during the event include wrestler Cinta De Oro and local artist Patrick Gabaldon.

Hispanic Heritage Walk and Yoga

The Paso del Norte Trail, AARP El Paso and Live Active El Paso are inviting the public to celebrate in this bicultural Hispanic Heritage event. They will be doing a two-mile walk on Playa Drain Trail, with a yoga session on the lawn of Hidden Valley Park, hosted by Live Active. The event will take place Thursday, September 26.

AARP Celebrates Hispanic Heritage with Virtual Sessions

In a virtual series, the AARP is doing an educational seminar of different Latin American countries. This weekend, they will be introducing people to Chile to learn various histories and cultures of the country. Other series will feature Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, and Costa Rica! To register for the virtual seminar, click here.
