A vicious murder in El Paso was apparently the first of 3 gruesome, unsolved crimes. The 3rd, (seemingly final), one was near Houston and the killer himself may have also died.
A famous 1930's gangster, perhaps the most famous of them al, has a place right here in the Borderland. 2 actually - 1 in Old Mesilla and the other in Cloudcroft, New Mexico.
