Not too long ago Beto O'Rourke was considered to have a real solid shot at a run for the presidency. Now, he's having to deal with people trolling him during Zoom meetings. Look, I like Beto. I voted for Beto. But I also think he mismanaged some things. More about my thoughts in a minute, first, you can see the clip where he gets trolled during a Zoom meeting.

Now, what are my thoughts on Beto? First, I don't think he should have jumped into the presidential race for 2020. I know, he was the hot commodity and almost took down Ted Cruz for the a Texas Senate seat. There's a great documentary that follows that run for the Senate called Running with Beto. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Beto was incredibly close to winning that seat. But rather than jumping into the presidential race, he would have been better off going after the other Texas Senate seat that is up for grabs this election and has held by John Cornyn since 2002. That would have been the perfect platform him to leap frog into a presidential run later on.

Of course, I'm just an idiot radio guy who works in radio for a reason, and Beto has been quite successful in his political career. So take whatever I say with a grain of salt. Taking my word on a subject like this is like listening to your Uncle Rico why the Cowboys suck and how they need to move on from Dak Prescott already. He might end up being right but that doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about.
