So, Fernie pointed out the other day that someone had posted a Missed Connection on El Paso’s Craigslist about me. I responded to the fellow’s post here on KLAQ.com. In his post, the man described every detail of the outfit I wore at Streetfest 2012 on Saturday night. Well, the author of my Missed Connection responded to my response and his response couldn’t be any creepier.

You know you’ve made it when you’re the subject of one of Craigslist’s “Missed Connections.” And by made it, I do mean, a stranger has likely dedicated some hand lotion and tissues to thoughts of you. Fernie tipped me off that a Missed Connection was posted about me on the El Paso Craigslist page after Saturday night’s Streetfest festivities.

Streetfest 2012 was kick-butt, with tons of bands, beer, cars, and when Blue Oyster Cult played Saturday night (LIVE!) – a whole lotta cowbell!

Streetfest 2012 kicked some serious tushie, with tons of great music, food, classic cars (including the Batmobile Tumbler and Bat Pod!), beer and tons of great friends to enjoy it with. Oh, and Lisa Sanchez and I brought our not-so-smooth dance moves!

Day one of Streetfest 2012 was a blast — with so much to see and do. While all the bands, Saliva, Filter, Theory of a Deadman AND the locals, were awesome, I had a dance party all by myself in the silent DJ booth!

Day 1 of  Streetfest 2012 has officially come to an end and the party was even bigger and better than we expected it to be, with Saliva, Filter and Theory of a Deadman rocking out on the main stage.
