It might only be Spring Training, but Major League Baseball is expanding their use of instant replay. Three games today involved managers challenging umpire decisions on the field. All three were upheld by the replay booth official.

Unlike Spring Training games, managers only get one replay challenge per game. However, if they win their appeal, the manager will get one additional challenge. I do not understand why more than one MLB umpire needs to put on the headset when communicating with the replay booth official. Regardless, MLB just found a new way to make their games even longer for baseball fans.
