    Pint & Peanut Social Club

This kitschy little spot just opened up in The Mix. By the name you probably would have never guessed that they service a variety of craft beers and hold on to your seat, moonshine! The social club is working on adding food to their menu which will line up perfectly with the Chihuahuas schedule. This cute little place is located in The Mix building, 518 W San Antonio. They are open Tuesday- Sunday 12pm-2am. Call 915.351.0515 for more information.

    Sparrows Spirits and Pies

Sparrows downtown opened up late last year and the wait was definitely worth it. Their deep dish pizza is perfect after enjoying a baseball game with the family. It takes about 40 minutes for the pies to be baked and prepared to perfection, but it's worth it. Trust me. If deep dish pizza sounds too heavy, try one of their amazing salads. They are located at 201 S. El Paso St. They are open Monday- Sunday 11am-11pm. Call 915.533.8988 for questions.

    Hello Day Cafe

The Hello Day Cafe is one of my personal favorite hot spots downtown. The Mexican BBQ burger (my personal favorite)  has a quarter pound of beef ,guacamole, cebollitas, jalapeno toreado and house mayonnaise. They also offer various salads, sandwiches, shareables and desserts. Their establishment is small but packs a punch, 209 S. El Paso St is where you can find them and while you're there have a drink upstairs at Bowie Feathers. They are open Monday - Thursday 8am-3pm,Friday 8am-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm.
