Since Geno Smith has a broken jaw, it's only natural to think that the New York Jets will bring in a veteran quarterback on the team.  There is no way they are gonna start the season with Ryan Fitzpatrick being backed up by to rookies. A couple of names that come to mind that might get that call from the Jets are Michael Vick and Rex Grossman.

How about Jared Lorenzen? Who's that you ask? Well, he's a 300 pound quarterback that backed up Eli Manning with the Giants and also played for the Indianapolis Colts. Most recently he played some Arena football.

Lorenzen took to his twitter account to express how much he would like to play for the Jets.  Personally, I would love to see Lorenzen get a shot with the Jets, how much worse can it get right?
