Today Northern Iowa should be celebrating that they are going to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. But they aren't, instead, they are the team responsible for blowing the biggest lead in the least amount of time in NCAA tournament history.
Northern Iowa had Texas A&M beat, they just had to hold on to a 12pt lead with 44 seconds left in the game. But they didn't, as you can see in the video below, Texas A&M made a miracle comeback that sent the game into overtime.
Texas A&M would end up winning the game in double overtime 92-88. Yes its safe to say that Northern Iowa had the most epic choke job of all time.
