The Miners were competitive through three quarters against C-USA leaders UAB on Friday night before the Blazers went on a 16-1 run to open the fourth quarter en route to the 84-64 victory.  UAB's impressive run in the final quarter resulted in the Blazers outscoring UTEP by a whopping 30-12 margin during the final ten minutes of the contest...

The Miners rallied from a 15-point deficit to defeat FAU 75-70 on Thursday night, becoming the first team in program history to have multiple fifteen point comebacks in the same season.  With their win and a record of 12-6, 3-2 C-USA, Coach Kevin Baker now has the most victories by any first-year UTEP head coach in program history...

The Miners looked to follow up a 15-point come from behind win over Charlotte on Thursday with a solid showing over C-USA preseason favorite Middle Tennessee, however, the Blue Raiders had other plans as they won 54-45 on Saturday afternoon...

The UTEP Women's basketball team rallied from a 15 point deficit to knock off Charlotte 67-58.  The come from behind win ties the fifth-largest in program history.  UTEP, who improved to 11-5, 2-1 C-USA, trailed at one point in the first half 25-10 with 6:18 to play, but then went on a 36-10 run around halftime to surge into the lead 46-35...

The Miners longest roadtrip since the 1987-88 season ended with a 72-66 loss at Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton on Sunday afternoon.  Overall UTEP went 5-4 on their five and a half week journey that spanned both coast lines and then some, totaling over 11,000 miles with a split on their Florida trip to open C-USA play...

A resilient UTEP Women's basketball team moved to 10-4, (1-0) C-USA, with a a tremendous hard fought 77-76 victory at FIU to open conference play.  The thrilling win came for the Miners despite not having leading scorer Tamara Seda for the majority of the contest due to a nose injury that she suffered early in the first quarter...
