UTEP won a close game for the first time this season, defeating Tulane 54-52 in overtime on Saturday night.

On the day of Coach Adams 300th victory celebration, her Miners gave her number 301 in a 67-38 beat down of the University of Central Florida and moved to 8-0 in C-USA and 19-2 overall. Jumping out to a 7-0 run to start the game, the Miners took a 33-18 lead into halftime and never looked back...

On Sunday afternoon, the Miners met the UCF Knights in a C-USA league game. UTEP avenged last season's last-second buzzer beater loss to UCF with a 68-39 thrashing of the Knights.
